Yucaipa High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes Gets a Special Guest Speaker

This past Wednesday, we had the privilege of visiting Yucaipa High School to speak at their Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) gathering. We provided 38 boxes of pizza and were able to feed 90 students during the first lunch and 75 students in the second. This opened the door to being able to connect with students, hear their stories, and learn more about their lives.

During our time together, our Youth Minister, Matt Fletscher, led them in a study of Colossians 1:9–10 and discussed the question, “What is God’s will for my life?” After exploring this topic, we had the wonderful opportunity to share the Gospel with the students. This opened the door to meaningful conversations about Jesus and allowed us to help connect students with a local church.

One particularly meaningful conversation was with a young man who gave his life to Christ last year. We had the opportunity to hear his testimony and learn more about how he came to faith in Jesus. Recognizing the importance of being connected to a local church, he asked us for more information about The Well. We are praying that he will join us in the coming week as he continues to grow in his relationship with Christ.

We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in these students, encourage them in their faith, and share the hope of the Gospel with the next generation.
