June Blessings: Deacons Update 2026

Dear Well Church,

Here is some of our Deacon's June blessings!

This month they helped someone change the light bulb that had gone out in their refrigerator. They also helped provide their usual landscaping, weeding and trimming of some people's yards. They also planted something new in a church member's yard. On top of this they fixed a broken closet door.

One story they shared stood out among the rest. Two of the deacons that oversee our widow ministry were invited out to lunch by one of our widows. They thoroughly enjoyed the time and meal together. At the end of the meal the widow offered to pay for the meal, but the waitress told them that some people sitting nearby had covered their bill! They had seen them together and felt led to generously cover their meal! Sometimes blessings come when you least expect it, and they were grateful.

Beside those, they also began working on a ramp to help people travel from the South Campus up to the main church parking lot much easier! It's not quite finished yet, but it's an impressive project in all this heat! Check it out next time you're on that side of the property!
