Since our groups started back up in September from their summer break, we've had wonderful testimonial reports from our life groups leaders and some members we wanted to share with all of you!
Women’s Bible Study
“I wanted to share what a blessing it is to meet with these ladies and study God's Word. We laugh, we cry, we pray, we share, we comfort one another and deeply love each other. Senior’s Bible Study
"We had one new baptism because of conversations we had in our Life Group. In September, we put 250 Christmas shoe boxes together in a record time of only 19 minutes for Operation Christmas Child! In October, we had a great time at the clubhouse eating and fellowshipping with each other. We have added another 6 new members. Also in October, we put together 500 Harvest candy bags for the Harvest Festival. It’s a blessing to be a part of this bible study!” - Craig & Cheryl Smith
Men’s Bible Study
“Men’s Life Group at The Well recently had an opportunity to put Jesus' teachings on serving others into practice. A widow in our church received notice that she needed to have her house painted within 30 days. She was worried about getting it done, so several men from our Life Group stepped in to help. The church provided materials and we got to work. Rain and conflicting schedules presented some challenges, but everyone pitched in when they could. In about a week, we had her house painted and finished before the deadline. Her smile and gratitude made the work especially rewarding—and she was delighted that the house was green, her favorite color. (You can see photos and read more about it here!)
Jesus taught that greatness in God’s Kingdom comes through serving others. For me, this was a meaningful opportunity to put that teaching into action. We came together, worked through challenges, and helped lift a burden from someone in our church family. It was encouraging to see God working through our group in such a practical way.” - Greg Hans
Apologetics Bible Study
"Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of leading our Friday night Bible study. The Lord has used this ministry to answer difficult questions, strengthen believers, and draw people from across the Yucaipa community. Through our studies in Scripture and apologetics, God has matured our faith and even brought one member to saving faith in Christ. God is truly gracious and good." - Ben Celaya

Adult Bible Study
Paul’s Adult Bible study has been meeting in the home of Loretta Stone for many years and the members see each other like family. Not only do they hold weekly bible studies together, they often camp together as well! Although most of the members are retired, their faith and their walk with Jesus is active and alive and they are filled with joy as they continue to meet together.
Young Families
The Young Families Bible Study has been meeting on Wednesday nights for at almost 9 years now. This group is focused on encouraging each other as we study God’s word in the midst of raising kids and families through all the ups and downs of life.
“Bible study with this group has helped me view things from a different point of view. The "ice breaking" questions at the beginning really help get folks engaged and share stories that help many of us on a deeper level because we can usually relate to the experiences shared. I'm often humbled hearing what people have gone through and how it has shaped their relationship with God.
