A quick note of encouragement

Dear Loved Ones,

I pray you all are well as we are all longing to be able to join and worship together soon.  As I am praying for you all, I would like to ask that you pray for two things this week.

First, our Leadership Team of Staff and Elders will be meeting together later this week to discern God’s will and formulate a plan for our church as we prepare to re-gather in worship in-person with each other.

Also, I would like to remind you of our outreach in The Power of Three.  You can still reach out with a call to three friends and family and ask them three questions! (See Graphic Below).

So stay safe and healthy and seek opportunities for Gratitude while you are in this difficult time!

Grace and Peace to you all!

Pastor Ron

A Reminder for The National Day of Prayer

Dear Loved Ones,

I pray that you all are doing well.  I miss you all, but know that we will be seeing each other face to face as soon as it is prudent.
One thing we can do in the meantime is to pray.   Today is the National Day of Prayer.  I would encourage each of you to find a moment to spend some time in prayer for your family, your nation, your church and your community.
Again, I have attached a prayer guide that will help you pray through that process.

Please join us online for church this Sunday.  You can see us by clicking on the front page of our website (sermon notes too!) at www.thewellyucaipa.com, or live stream on facebook at The Well Church Yucaipa.

Blessings to all of you, you are in my hearts and prayers.

A Message from Pastor Ron

Dear Loved Ones,

I pray that you all are healthy and well.  This Sunday will be our third Live-Streamed service.  Our team is working very hard to bring you a Worship Service that will lift up God and will bless your heart!

We have been working diligently to make sure our graphics are legible and not covering over everyone’s faces!  We hear you and ask that you bear with us as we strive to make those changes that are necessary for a quality.  Believe it or not, 4 weeks ago no one on our staff was a TV production specialist!

I’m excited to speak Sunday about how God’s Truth will keep us from Fear!  Please know that things are happening in ministry while we cannot meet together.  After three months of planning, we have added a new staff member. Isaiah Price will be joining us as our new Youth Pastor.  Tune in our Live-Stream service Sunday to meet Him!

Pastor PJ is taking on a new responsibility as our Pastor of Communications and will also be working with Brandon Rose to begin a ministry to College and Career young adults.

We are currently working to get our Small Groups up and running on a video-based format as well. Pastor Marcus has most of our groups up and running and is working on getting the rest online soon.

Laura has provided an on-line presence for our children’s ministry as well.

I want to personally thank those of you who have continued to support the Ministry of The Well Church with your gifts in the past few weeks. Your gifts make all this possible. We have actually had over 1,000 people engage with our online services on YouTube and Facebook live.

We are all facing new challenges we never even imagined two months ago. We have two promises (actually more) that we can cling to in these tough times.  Jesus said He’d never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and that “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes focused on God!  His eyes are on you, too!

We’ll get through this, and God will continue to grow His Kingdom!

Trusting Him,

Pastor Ron

Message from Pastor Ron

Dear Loved Ones,

I have been thinking of you and praying for you!  My prayer is that you will be filled with the consolation of Christ and His Spirit, which lives in you, will give you comfort and rest during this time.

If I might make a suggestion, since we have a little more time on our hands, spend a little reading from the Gospels this week.  Look at how Jesus went about accomplishing his mission. Not in a hurry. Taking time to connect with people (we may need to make a phone call or an email). Spending time with His father. Resting in His Father’s love, during uncertain and tumultuous time.  God has this time in his hands. We can trust that during our quarantined situation He is present. He loves you and will see you through this. This is only temporary. Psalm 30:5 tells us that “weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”  Keep your eyes on God. Easter is coming.

In the meantime, please join with us together on The Well Online, Sunday Mornings at 10AM.  Just go to www.thewellyucaipa.com and click on the link on the second banner on our homepage, to watch the sermon and worship live-streamed right to your computer or device.  If you miss that, you can watch an edited version on YouTube on our channel there, at The Well Church Yucaipa.

Some of you have asked how you can continue your regular giving at The Well.  You can give at our Website (see link above) and, of course, you can mail in your tithes and offerings to The Well Church 12717 14th St. Yucaipa, CA 92399.

I’m looking forward to meeting together in person, as soon as possible.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Ron

The Well Church’s Covid-19 Response Plan

Dear Loved Ones,

I want to pass on our plans for The Well Church to deal with the Coronavirus Pandemic.

The Elders and Staff have made this a matter of prayer and we are taking the following action steps to help our spiritual growth while we are protecting one another from physical illness. Here are the Steps we are taking:

  1. All Life Groups / Small Groups / Youth and Children’s Groups have been cancelled. We will begin meeting again as soon as possible after the school’s spring break.  We are hoping that will be April 6th, but we may have to delay that further as the spread or containment of the virus is clearer.

  1. All Sunday services will be Livestreamed on Sunday Morning at 10 AM. We will NOT be having Sunday Services on campus, until further notice, except for essential personnel.  You can access the Services by either The Well’s YouTube channel – The Well Church Yucaipa – or by our website: www.thewellyucaipa.com, or by Facebook at The Well Church.

Well will have worship and a Sunday Sermon each week, at 10:00 AM live, and recorded at later times.

  1. If you have a need that we can help you with please contact us by email at info@thewellyucaipa.com. Our offices will be closed intermittently, and we may not be able to respond to your phone messages.

  1. We are still committed to serving our congregation in any way we can. If you are able, your tithes and offerings can be mailed to The Well Church 12717 14th St. Yucaipa, CA 92399, or you can give online at our website, www.thewellyucaipa.com

We are hoping to continue ministry with no financial interruptions like layoffs, furloughs or pay reductions which will affect our staff.  We can only continue with your generous support.

We understand the great inconvenience, stress and anxiety this pandemic has put into your lives.

Remember that Jesus loves you all very much.  He is in charge of the entire universe, from solar systems to viruses.  You can trust in Him in this difficult time.

Talk to you soon,

Pastor Ron

Word’s of Encouragement from Pastor Ron

Dear Loved Ones,

We are certainly living in uncertain and anxiety-provoking times.
Keep your eyes focused on the God who is above and who holds all things in his hands!

“You will keep in perfect peace
          those whose minds are steadfast,
                because they trust in you.”
                           Isaiah 26:3

When you are feeling out of control, thinking this world has gone mad,
remember that your minds will be steadfast when you Trust in God.

Blessings,
Pastor Ron
